Your recipient is part of a wider project in their local area, and together they use the Direct Sponsor system to gain all the advantages of working with a conventional charity with none of the disadvantages.

You sponsor a family directly, and 100% of your money goes to them. Direct Sponsor manages their project for them, and you get regular video updates on progress, as well as the ability to communicate with them via their own forum on this site, or any other way you choose.

We have two pilot projects for you to choose from, a valley restoration in Morocco to stop the advance of the desert, and a community project based around an eco-village in Kenya.

Digitally interact with the recipient of your funds. This direct experience allows you to observe the benefit of your funds as your project progresses. Our digital media library is generated primarily by our recipients as a means of feedback to their sponsors. Photographs, video and diary blogs depict the projects progress and the benefit of your funds.

user-friendly and transparent

Direct Sponsor leads by example. Our accounts section is public, live and user-friendly. In short, our online accounts allow you to track each individual fund transfers across all projects. Better yet, our online accounts are user-generated. Whenever a sponsor transfers money to their recipient, the recipient in turn confirms reciept of the funds, using our online fund logging tool. In addition to individual transfer logs, live graphs and charts present the data to you an obvious and clear manner.
